Shop & Cafe

The museum office building contains a café where refreshments are served, and a small shop where visitors can buy postcards, posters, books, clothing, and other souvenirs.

The museum café holds space for 35-40 persons. Along with coffee, tea and small snacks local home made dishes, salmon soup or poronkäristys (thin slices of sautéed raindeer, served with mashed potatoes and lingonberries) are also available, but warm meals should be ordered in advance.

The café may be booked for private gatherings and get-togethers; Särestö provides memorable surroundings a birthday or Christmas party, for example. (Please contact the museum curator for further information (info)
